Safety comes first. The first step in working safely at height is therefore to become aware of the risks and dangers at height. In addition, it is also important to know which techniques and which materials are best suited to a particular situation. Our trainers would like share their knowledge with you from their experience in a pleasant and interactive way. Bilfinger Height Specialists offers training in the field of safe working at height for employees and operational managers.

Working at height training

Working at height – basic

This training gives you the basic knowledge about working safely at height. You will learn to use the materials in the right way and apply the knowledge you gain in practice.

Theory

  • Recognising the risks of working at height
  • Knowledge of legislation and regulations
  • Gain insight into various fall protection techniques and materials
  • Knowledge of various materials

And practice

  • The correct use of materials
  • Performing a buddy check
  • Recognising unsafe situations
  • Application of different techniques
  • Making a choice out of the different techniques and materials
  • How to apply these techniques safely

Requirements

Minimum age 18 years, no prior education required.

Certificate

If you have successfully completed the training, you will receive a certificate from Bilfinger Height Specialists. This certificate is valid for two years.

Duration & costs

The costs are € 175.00 ex VAT per person. The course lasts half a day and continues with at least 3 registrations.

Working at Height – advanced

The working at height ‘Advanced’ training course is developed for operational managers. With this course you will learn the basic knowledge about working safely at height, but also what to pay attention to as an operational manager. In addition to laws and regulations, materials and techniques, the preparation of a risk inventory and a rescue plan will be discussed.

  • Recognising the risks of working at height
  • Knowledge of legislation and regulations
  • Insight into various methods and techniques
  • Understanding the pros and cons of different materials
  • Writing/understanding a risk inventory and rescue plan

And practice

  • Choosing the right materials and using them correctly
  • Performing a pre-use check of the materials and a buddy check
  • Making a choice between the different techniques
  • Giving a instruction to colleagues about the chosen working method
  • Translating a risk inventory and rescue plan into practice

If you have successfully completed the training, you will receive a certificate from Bilfinger Height Specialists. This certificate is valid for two years.

The costs are € 325.00 ex VAT per person, including lunch.
The course lasts all day and continues with a minimum of 2 registrations.
