IRATA and Bilfinger Height Specialists

IRATA is an organization with a proven safe method for working at height. We are a proud member of IRATA and have been an IRATA certified training center for over 10 years. In our training center in Bergschenhoek we offer training for IRATA level 1, 2 and 3. Partly due to the atmosphere within the organization and the quality of our trainers, the success rate is well above 95%.

MONTHLY TRAINING

Every month we offer IRATA training courses. With the use of rope techniques, rope access, you learn how to work at height safely. A course lasts from Monday to Friday. During this week you will gain theoretical knowledge and often practice in the ropes. Exercise, practice, practice: you learn what to do in common situations. In our training room are all necessary materials, as well as a diversity of installations that you might encounter in practice.

On Friday you will end the training with an exam: an independent (external) examiner will assess your progress.

  • Worldwide recognition for levels 1, 2 and 3

What are IRATA’s requirements?

Level 01

This is the basic training that covers all aspects of working safely with industrial rope techniques. Experience is not required, but you are at least 18 years old and of course physically and medically fit.

Level 02

To pass this level you must have at least 1 year of level 1 experience in which you have worked 1,000 demonstrable practical hours at level 1.

Level 03

Prerequisites for achieving IRATA level 3 are that you have at least 1 year of experience at level 2 in which you have worked 1,000 demonstrable practical hours at level 2. You must also have a first aid diploma.

COSTS

€ 1.200,- excl. VAT per person, per level. The exam on day 5 is included in the price.

The training lasts one week. We provide all the necessary training material and daily lunch.
