Why collaborate with Bilfinger Height Specialists?

With 25 years of knowledge and experience, we ensure that projects are successfully handled in a safe manner and with minimal impact on the environment. Our mission is to make the inaccessible accessible and we carry this out by delivering safe and efficient solutions with our team of driven specialists.

Our strengths:

  • Safety.
Safety is our number one priority. That is why we find it very important that we, as a company, and all our technicians are IRATA certified. We are also ISO9001:2015 and VCA P certified.
  • Accessing the inaccessible.
No place is inaccessible to us. In cooperation with our clients, we can always find a solution to reach difficult places and to carry out the work at height.
  • Deployable.
We work with a permanent team of no less than 40 professionals, which means that we are always quick and deployable. For an urgent assignment we can usually carry out work on the same day.
  • Flexible.
Our team of technicians is broadly trained. This means that there are several groups within our team with certain specialisations. For example, one group is specialised in welding and another group is specialised in conservation work. This makes us flexible and available for every project.

How long have you been a member of IRATA?

Since 22 February 2008 we are officially a full member company of IRATA. After the acquisition by Bilfinger in January 2021, Bilfinger Height Specialists again passed the IRATA audit. We still operate as a full member company (operator & trainer). This means that as a company we are allowed to offer IRATA training as well as helping others make difficult places accessible by means of rope access.

Which certificates does Bilfinger Height Specialists have?

Working safely at heights is highly important. We therefore consider it significant to show our clients that safety comes first at our company.

We have a total of three certificates:

  • IRATA
An organisation that focuses on the safe execution of rope access. With this certificate we can function as a training centre as well as an operational company.
  • ISO9001:2015
This is an international standard for quality management systems. This certification indicates that we meet customer requirements, risk management, structural improvement and take sufficient account of legislation and regulations.
  • VCA P
VCA P is a Dutch certificate and thus has a Dutch acronym. It stands for ‘Veiligheid, Gezondheid en Milieu (VGM) Checklist Aannemers’. Translated this means Safety, Health and Environment Checklist Contractors. The ‘P’ stands for the petrochemical industry. This certificate aims at companies in the petrochemical industry and applies to reduce the number of accidents at the workplace. VCA P is a required certificate in the Petrochemical industry.

We also have an ‘HSE policy’ and a ‘stop work authority’.

  • HSE policy
HSE stands for Health Safety Environment. We put the health of our employees first.
  • Stop Work Authority
Safety is our priority. That’s why we tell all employees to stop when it doesn’t feel right. Stopping unsafe work will never have any consequences.
